Our Owners Receive

1. Fast Stakes Payment.

High performing horses can win big stakes and owners want their share as soon as it arrives from the various New Zealand / Australian racing jurisdictions - often within 72 hours. A central person managing stakes provides clarity and prompt payment of winnings.

2. Building a Kitty Surplus.

One-off costs can pop up with any horse, like flights, nominations, or extra insurance. We see it is a must that each syndicate bank account builds up a fair $10,000 surplus before the horse has its first start at 3 years old.
Then, one-off costs can be covered without requiring more money on top of your monthly fees.

3. Clear Quarterly Reporting.

As an owner, you will get a clear view of the financials. Kingmakers provides a report on every horse, every 3 months, which reconciles to the syndicate bank account. Reports will detail what stakes have come in and what costs are going out.

Meet Martin, our Mr Finance

Syndicate Services Kingmakers Syndication Martin Jackson 2
We offer a transparent financial management service

Most syndicators lack an appointed treasurer and with the financial pressure of the racing industry, dishonest practices often result. The horse racing industry here and abroad is full of amateur syndicators, such as trainers, small breeders and even local pubs, have been known to overcharge and under pay owners stakes. Transparency is non-existent, with missing bank funds, and no financial records provided to syndicate owners.

We establish clear and fair money management

Sound financial acumen, transparency and trust are a key benefit of holding a share with Kingmakers. An independent financial controller, Martin Jackson, oversees all accounting, invoices and payments, keeping a keen eye on industry rates.

Full Quarterly Financial Reports will be provided to owners and any concerns can be addressed confidentially. A clear dividend stakes process will be in place, with 100% of owner stakes paid out once received from the various central racing boards.

We set sensible monthly budgets, between $4,000 and $4,600, depending on the horse, and the region it will be trained in. By working closely with our preferred suppliers, we obtain fair rates in return for our exclusive commitment to their equine services and products.

Unlike most syndicates, unused kitty funds are returned to owners in line with their respected share percentage.
